Holiday Donations

In addition to Red Door Animal Shelter and Best Friends Animal Society, the Chicago Canine Rescue will receive a donation this year in lieu of us giving out gifts to your pups. Thank you all for your nominations, there are so many wonderful rescues and shelters in our city. Enjoy the rest of the year with your loved ones, furry and otherwise!
Cruisin’ Canines Dog Walking Holiday Donations
Happy Holidays! For the 2012 Holiday Season, instead of handing out toys to be enjoyed (and destroyed) to your pups, dog walker Cruisin’ Canines has decided to donate to the shelters that have given so many of us joy and love through the dogs they save. We’ve chosen two shelters, and we would like you to help choose a third. The first two shelters we’ve chosen are Best Friends Animal Society (http://www.bestfriends.org/) benefiting the countless pets that Hurricane Sandy left homeless earlier this year, and the local Red Door Animal Shelter (http://www.reddoorshelter.org/) helping dogs and pets across the Chicagoland area. Cruisin’ Canines walks a lot of dogs that came through local shelters too, so let us know what shelter your pooch came from! The shelter that receives the most votes by Wednesday December 19th will be the third shelter we will donate to this season. Ugly Dog Sweater Contest
Who doesn’t love an ugly sweater contest? That’s why we are having an Ugly Dog Sweater Contest! We all know there are more than plenty ugly dog (and human) sweaters out there! Christmas, Hanukkah, winter inspired, Bill Cosby style or just plain ugly we want to see them on your dog! The winner of the contest will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to Barker and Meowsky!
